  • "shakespear incident"

    i went to PYNEH for lessons today and i had to travel with dee dee. i didnt speak to him at all for the whole journey... i was enjoying my tranquillity during the mini bus ride, dreaming, enjoying the silence when he suddenly asked me: did you like OG more or medicine more? since i dont want to talk to him i just snapped at him... i know i am rude but i dont want to pretend i want to talk to him.....

    i think it is really strange. as kei chai said yesterday. we are all like primary school students, ignoring him and trying to make him feel bad. an incident yesterday: we went for lunch and we all sat down at tables. no one invited him to sit with them and dee dee pulled a chair and sat at the table of kei chai and christopher. everyone ignored him and he was reading the newspaper on his own. kei chai thought the situation was too cruel so he said "since everyone is here, would you explain the recent event of robbing anna with her delievery (cheung chai incident)?" then dee dee became angry and said he had explained to anna already. then kei chai said that incident itself was not important. if sing had done it, the reaction in the group would be different. our reaction was just an accumulation of many things that he had done. kei chai was good hearted and wanted an open discussion about this very odd and unhealthy relationship. dee dee became very defensive and suddenly spoke in english and recited some verses from shakespear.... hamlet, according to kei chai and christopher.... the others were so shocked... it was so odd... and the other tables were staring at him also... so odd!! this is the "shakespear" incident.

    i did reflect on myself. kei chai said another thing that he had never hated ppl like that. it was like we were back in secondary/primary school. but i just cant help it. we just cant help it. and he just cant help making us hate him??? why is that? i am really looking forward to my next rotation when i will be in gp with dean, dice, kei chai, bessie, anna and samuel : ) yeah! no more dee dee for 8 wks!! but first i have to pass my CCT :P
